Isagenix Compensation Plan Glossary

Are you trying to understand the Isagenix Compensation Plan terms? Here is a detailed list of the most common conversations occuring in the explanation of the Isagenix business. It will be very important for you to get a grasp of the meanings of everything to better understand how to build and support your successful team and business. Achieved Rank

The rank of which an Associate has achieved within the Isagenix Compensation Plan. The three ranks included in the plan are Associate, Consultant, and Executive.

Active Status

A status when an Associate is eligible to accumulate BV and receive Team Bonuses. Must meet a minimum of 100 PV for the previous 30 days.

Activated

The time an Associate first becomes Active and is eligible to accumulate BV and receive Team Bonuses.

Active Associate
An Associate who has maintained Active Status and is eligible to earn Retail Commissions, Product Introduction Bonuses and accumulate the BV of personally enrolled Associates. Also eligible to accumulate Excess PV as part of the BV for the Associate’s Minor Sales Team at the time of the PV is purchased.
Associate (Member)
An independent contractor who has completed an application and had it accepted by Isagenix International. An Associate may purchase product at wholesale prices and participate in the Isagenix Compensation Plan. Also referred to as “members.”
Associate Support System

The complete online support system provided to each Isagenix Independent Associate at the time of sign-up. The system includes a personalized Web site, mirrored after the company's own, where prospects and customers can be directed to view and purchase Isagenix products or sign up as Associates. It also includes a complete online Back Office management system and training materials to help manage and support the growth of your Isagenix business.

Autoship

A program of convenience where a pre-selected order is shipped once a month. AutoShip orders provide additional savings and convenience to Associates and Preferred Customers.

Business Volume (BV)

A point value assigned to each commissionable product.

Commission Period

A timeframe for when BV is accumulated for a Commission. Each Commission Period is from Monday at 12:00 a.m. ET to the following Sunday at 11:59 p.m. ET. Commissions are paid each week, one week in arrears.

Consultant

A rank achieved by an Associate for being Active and having at least one Active personally enrolled Associate on his/her Left Sales Team and at least one Active personally enrolled Associate on his/her Right Sales Team in the same period.

Cycle
A term to define the total accumulation of 900 Group Volume (GV) in an Associate’s Sales Team where at least 300 BV is in a Minor Volume Leg and 600 BV is in a Strong Volume Leg. A Cycle triggers a Team Bonus based on qualification.
Day

A time period equal to a day—from 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. ET—when commissions are calculated. Commissions are paid weekly, one week in arrears.

Downline

Associates placed below an Associate in the genealogy of the Isagenix Compensation plan.

Ecount ( IsaWallet)

The Isagenix Ecount card is used to pay all commissions. This card is issued automatically the week following an Associate’s first commissions of at least $10. Commissions are loaded directly on your card and can be accessed through ATMs or used at any participating credit-card merchant; or you may transfer the funds to any U.S.-based bank account.

Enrolling Sponsor

A sponsor who personally enrolls an Associate. The Enrolling Sponsor is eligible to earn a Product Introduction Bonus from the optional purchase of a Product Introduction Pak by the sponsor’s personally enrolled Associate. The sponsor’s personally enrolled Associates also count to qualify and/or maintain the sponsor’s rank, subject to Active Status. Enrolling Sponsors qualified at the Executive rank are eligible to earn the 10% Matching Team Bonus on their Active personally enrolled Consultants and Executives.

Excess Personal Volume (Excess PV)

PV over the 100 needed in a commission period to meet Active Status that will be accumulated on an Associate's Minor Volume Leg at the time of purchase.

Executive

A rank achieved by an Associate who has reached the rank of Consultant and by having 10 personally enrolled Associates—five on each of the Associate’s Sales Teams (Left and Right)—who are Paid-As Consultants within the same period.

Executive Benefits

Benefits received by Executives in addition to Associate and Consultant benefits. A Paid-As Executive is eligible to receive a 10% Matching Team Bonus on all Team Bonuses earned by personally enrolled Paid-As Consultants and Executives. Executives may also qualify for profit opportunities through Upline re-entries (see Compensation Plan for more details).

Grace Period

A five-day grace period added to the 30 days for determining Active status.

Group Volume (GV)

The BV that accumulates in an Associate’s Left and Right Sales Team based on Active Status and Paid-As Status Rank.Active Associates of all ranks will accumulate the PV of personally enrolled Associates towards Left or Right Sales Teams based on which Sales Team the Associate is in and will accumulate Excess PV in their Minor Volume Sales Team once qualified as a Consultant or at time of purchase.Paid-As Consultants and Executives will also accumulate GV of their Downline Associates.Associates of any Rank who do not maintain Active Status will not accumulate GV until they regain Active Status.

Holdover Volume

A stabilizing feature of the Isagenix Compensation Plan that allows Active Paid-As Consultants to hold over unpaid GV in each of their two Sales Teams to accumulate towards qualifying for future team bonuses. The Holdover process will occur as long as an Associate remains a Paid-As Consultant or until the end of any day that the Associate has accumulated a minimum of 100 total cycles. When this occurs, Isagenix will allow you to hold over up to 12,000 GV in your Strong Volume Leg and all remaining GV in your Minor Volume Leg. This process will repeat itself over and over as you grow your business.

Matching Team Bonus

As a Paid-As Executive, you are eligible to receive a 10% Matching Team Bonus on the weekly Team Bonus income of all personally enrolled Paid-As Consultants and Executives. The 10% Matching Team Bonus is calculated daily and paid weekly on every 4 accumulated cycles of your personal Paid-As Consultants and Executives.

Mega Cycle

A Mega Cycle occurs at the end of any day (11:59 p.m. ET) that a minimum of 100 cycles has been accumulated since an Associate’s joining date or the last Mega Cycle. To provide stability to the Isagenix Compensation Plan, Isagenix will hold over up to 12,000 GV in an Associate’s Strong Volume Leg and all remaining volume in an Associate’s Minor Volume Leg towards future Team Bonuses earned. Any Excess PV above the 12,000 in your Strong Volume Leg is removed.

Minor Volume Leg

One of two Associate Sales Teams that holds the lesser amount of unpaid GV (see Compensation Plan for more details).

Month

A 30-day period, plus a 5-day grace period for a total of 35 elapsed days.

Paid As Consultant

Consultants who maintain Active Status and Consultant requirements. In addition to being eligible for earnings of an Associate, Paid-As Consultants may earn Team Bonuses.

Paid-As

The status rank of which an Associate is paid. Once an Associate reaches a certain rank within the Isagenix compensation plan, they will maintain that rank until they advance to the next rank. However, for compensation purposes, the Associate will be paid as the rank of which the Associate is qualified, subject to Active Status, Active Status of personally enrolled Associates, and volume accumulated in a given commission period.

Personal Volume (PV)

Volume that is the combination of the BV of your personal orders and the BV of Retail Direct Customers ordering from your website. 100 PV is necessary to maintain Active Status and all Excess PV is accumulated in the Associate’s Minor Volume Leg.

Personal Associate

The Enrolling Sponsor’s registered, personally enrolled Associate.

Placement Sponsor

The Sponsor that an Associate is placed directly under in a Sales Team genealogy. This Associate can also be the Enrolling Sponsor.

Preferred Customer

A customer who has previously been enrolled as an Associate but has decided not to renew their Associate Membership. Preferred Customers continue to enjoy the privilege of ordering at special discounted prices. They do not keep any downline they may have and no longer participate in the Isagenix Compensation Plan. Any BV resulting from their orders would be treated as PV of the Enrolling Sponsor. A Preferred Customer is free to enroll again at any time as an Isagenix Associate with the same or different enrolling sponsor.

Product Introduction Bonus

A bonus eligible to Associates who earn a one-time $10-$150 Product Introduction Bonus (PIB) when personally enrolled Associates choose to order one of the company's optional Product Introduction Paks directly from Isagenix International at signup or within the first 60 days of enrollment.

Rank

A term used to define the position an Isagenix Associate has achieved within the Isagenix Compensation Plan. The plan’s three ranks include: Associate, Consultant, and Executive.

Reset

The removal of Group Volume (GV) from your Left and Right Sales Teams that is no longer eligible to be used in calculating your Team Bonuses. Reset occurs at the end of any day an Associate of any rank loses Active Status.

Retail Business Center

A placement for tracking genealogy and Group Volume of an Associate’s downline Sales Teams.

Retail Customer

A customer who purchases product from an Isagenix Associate. Retail Customers are not Independent Associates and have no position in the Isagenix Compensation Plan.

Retail Direct Customer

A customer who orders Isagenix products at retail prices from an Associate directly from Isagenix International. These customers are not Independent Associates and have no position in the Isagenix Compensation Plan.

Retail Direct Profits
Profit earned by Associates from Retail Direct Customers who order directly from Isagenix International. Associates do not need to maintain Active Status to earn Retail Direct Profits. This profit is calculated by subtracting the wholesale price and a $4.95 Administration fee from the retail price on each order.
Retail Profits

The profit you earn from the purchases of your Retail Customers taken from your inventory. You do not need to be active to earn Retail Profits.

Strong Volume Leg

One of two Associate Sales Teams that holds the most amount of unpaid GV (see Compensation Plan for more details).

Team Bonuses

Commissions earned by Paid-As Consultants and Executives who are eligible to earn them from the volume of an Associate’s Sales Teams. For simplicity, we call these two Sales Teams, the Left Sales Team and Right Sales Team. When an Associate accumulates 900 points in GV and at least 300 of those points are from one Sales Teams and 600 points from the other, the Associate earns a Team Bonus. Each Team Bonus qualification is called a Cycle. Retail Business Centers can Cycle multiple times every day.

Upline

Associates placed above an Associate in the genealogy of the Isagenix Compensation plan.

Week

A timeframe for when BV is accumulated for a Commission. Each Week, also called a Commission Period, is from Monday at 12:00 a.m. ET to the following Sunday at 11:59 p.m. ET. Commissions are paid each week, one week in arrears.
